Sony World Photography Awards

Following Liberate Tate’s annual protest, the debate around corporate sponsors in the arts has been in the news again.  Their activism is channelled towards BP, but the role of the Tate in their campaigning is just as important; the idea of ‘liberating’ the gallery forcing broader questions about sponsorship.  Should the art world ask more questions about where it gets its money from?  If so, whose money is acceptable?
